Peel and grate the potatoes. If they release a lot of liquid, gently squeeze out some of the excess. Grate the onion as well.

Pork and Potato Patties in Tomato Sauce
Juicy pork patties made with grated potato and onion, pan-seared until golden and gently simmered in a simple tomato sauce. An easy and satisfying everyday meal.
Method
Combine the ground pork, grated potatoes, and onion. Season with salt, black pepper, and granulated garlic. Mix thoroughly.
Wet your hands with water and shape the mixture into evenly sized patties.
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Sear the patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. They don't need to be fully cooked at this stage.
Add the tomato paste and pour in about 125 ml of water or broth. Gently distribute the sauce around the patties.
Cover, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15–25 minutes, until the patties are cooked through and the sauce has slightly thickened.
